BARRY BARASH

Barry M. Barash is a senior member in Barash & Everett's Galesburg office. Barry was Assistant Attorney General of the State of Illinois from 1963-64. He is board certified in consumer and business bankruptcy and is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy. He is a licensed pilot with over 30 years of experience and commercial, multi-engine and instrument ratings. He is executive vice-president of Jet Air, Inc., the Cessna dealer for western Illinois, northern Missouri and most of Iowa, and Fixed Base Operator at the Galesburg Municipal Airport and Iowa City.

BORN: Galesburg, Illinois, May 6, 1938.

ADMITTED TO BAR: 1963, Illinois; also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, 1970; U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, 1976; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, 1990; U.S. District Court, Southern (now Central) District of Illinois, 1964; U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska, 1993; U.S. Claims Court (Washington), 1988; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois, 1994; U.S. Tax Court, 1996.

EDUCATION: Cornell University (A.B., 1960); University of Chicago (J.D., 1962).

MEMBER: Knox County Bar Association; Illinois State Bar Association; American Bankruptcy Institute; Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
